Bob McNeil is a Technology Sales Professional based in Denver Colorado. Bob spent two years fresh out of college with VARs in Boston before diving head-first into the Dot-Com boom time; spending four years as a hands-on technologist in Massachusetts, principally with NaviSite, Inc. The Skills yeared in those years has informed Bob’s career to this day. But Bob’s passion for helping business leaders with technology lead him back to a sales career in 2003, with MIS Alliance. Bob entered the world of Enterprise Technology Sales in 2006 with virtualization start-up Egenera Corp and was quickly promoted and relocated to Silicon Valley in 2007, to spearhead Mid-Market sales of Egenera Bladeframe and PAN Manager software. Bob survived the Financial Crisis as a 1099 Sales Professional for a Bay Area VAR before being hired by Oracle in 2010. After two promotions within Oracle Bob was relocated by Colorado in 2013 to focus on sales of Oracle’s StorageTek product family.
After five years at Oracle Bob pursued a start-up with an Oracle customer in 2015: REDHOT.io and then returned to IT Services in 2017 with Sungard Availability Services. Bob is now pursuing roles in Technology Sales that tackle strategic-level issues with his customers. His methodology is first examining business goals and financial goals of customers.
